Simply log in to your online account and select ‘Your Subscription’ from the menu on the left-hand side.
You don’t need to do anything to save information that you have typed in or uploaded. It is saved automatically. You will see a ‘Submit’ button so you can submit your information to us when you are ready.
On joining, there is no deadline to update the information but you will only become visible in the system once you have completed the desktop assessment. Subsequently, there is a requirement to update your information at least once per year or sooner depending on when the evidence you submit expires.
You will receive email communications from SEQual reminding you to update your information as required.
When you select your product and service codes you will notice that any codes requiring an onsite assessment is shown as ‘Assessable’ in red. If you select these codes, complete and fulfil the desktop assessment, you will require an on-site assessment.
As part of the launch phase, assessment certificates issued by other UK oil and gas qualification schemes will be accepted until their expiry, or 31st December 2022, whichever is earlier. You will be exempted from any applicable SEQual on-site assessment during this period. You will be able to provide previous certification information as part of your desktop assessment.
Please contact us directly if you want to know the cost for your company to join SEQual. Membership runs for a calendar year and is renewed on an annual basis. Buyers joining part way through the year will be charged on a pro-rata basis.
In SEQual all products and services that suppliers may wish to offer to buyers are contained within a Product Code List. Each supplier on the portal will have selected the codes relevant to the products and services they wish to supply. This allows you as a buyer to search for suppliers that are qualified for the codes you wish to procure against.
In SEQual, the code set used is a subset of the UNSPSC, relevant to the industry
Suppliers complete the questionnaire with information about their company including the products they wish to supply; these are called requirements. The suppliers can assign specific requirements to different members of staff.

Once a supplier passes desktop assessment they will be published within SEQual and become visible to buyers.

You can have as many users on the portal as you need.
You can create questions for suppliers asking them for the additional information that you require. You can invite specific suppliers, or all the suppliers from different supplier lists, to respond. See the Buyer user guide for more details.
Yes. When you are logged into the portal you can set up as many different supplier lists as you wish.
For each supplier list, you can set up email alerts for when a supplier’s status has changed, their subscription has expired, there financial score has increased or decreased, they have updated information, added or dropped product codes, gone out of business or their assessment status changes.
Yes. We have user guides and training materials available once you have logged into SEQual. Face-to-face training sessions will also be available (Covid Restrictions permitting).
